The 'Barrio Fiesta sa London', a two-day festival held in Lampton Park, West London, is perhaps the best known and largest gathering for the community in the UK with an expected 60,000 people turning up over the two day event. It is organised and run by The Philippine Centre but draws Filipino community groups and businesses from all over the country. After the 2008 Barrio Fiesta in July, it will have been running for 24 years.

I'm hoping this will allow me to promote the artists i've been trying to promote for the past 3 years more effectively.  For those of you who have never heard of philly4life, it's a project I started over 3 years ago and it's main purpose is to promote uk/pinoy music. 

Now i do this by posting links and music of artists i meet on the website but i guess my unique angle all the whole scene is the promotional cd i release once a year compiled of unsigned uk/pinoy artists.  As I type this blog i'm excited to let you know the 3rd promotional cd entitled "P-Noize" Philly4Life Vol3 goes into production this week.  Perfectly time for the 2008 Barrio Fiesta sa Hounslow.  This will most probably be the last cd produced as i will now be using this blog to post links to a Philly4Life Radio Show type Podcast.  Before i do that though i've decided i'll first post links of all three Philly4Life Compilations cds.  I'm also hoping i can use this blog to start promoting Pinoy music worldwide, starting with our European cousins then obviously Stateside, North America, Asia, Australasia & Africa.  So check back or better still why not subscribe
