The 'Barrio Fiesta sa London', a two-day festival held in Lampton Park, West London, is perhaps the best known and largest gathering for the community in the UK with an expected 60,000 people turning up over the two day event. It is organised and run by The Philippine Centre but draws Filipino community groups and businesses from all over the country. After the 2008 Barrio Fiesta in July, it will have been running for 24 years.

Freddie Aguilar's "Anak" is without a doubt the most influencial Filipino song i've ever heard, i couldn't even tell you the first time I heard this but i never get tired of hearing this track.

Not important but as some might know there is two versions (both posted below) an English and off course the Original Tagalog version, just thought i'd post them hoping maybe you all could tell me which one you prefer (or not)
